This page applies to OnHosty and the websites, applications, dashboards, APIs, software, AI features, digital tools, hosting services, commerce features, market tools, and other services made available at or through https://onhosty.com/. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean onhosty.com. References to “you” include visitors, customers, account holders, subscribers, sellers, creators, affiliates, and authorized users. New or updated services are covered when they reasonably fall within this description unless a separate notice or agreement applies.
1. Current Access Status
Market features are currently paper/simulated only unless a feature is expressly identified as live and separately enabled. Paper trading does not use real money or execute transactions in real securities and should not be presented as live brokerage activity.
2. Technology Platform — Not a Broker or Adviser
OnHosty provides technology, education, research, analytics, charting, simulation, automation, and connection tools. Unless separately licensed and expressly disclosed, OnHosty is not acting as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, clearing firm, custodian, or fiduciary. Brokerage and regulated financial services are supplied by the applicable third-party financial provider.
3. Self-Directed Trading
You are responsible for deciding whether to trade, what to trade, order size, timing, price, risk limits, strategy, and whether an automated strategy should run. Information, screeners, signals, definitions, AI output, alerts, backtests, and strategy examples are educational or analytical tools and are not individualized investment advice.
4. Investment Risk
All investing and trading involve risk, including loss of principal. Prices can move rapidly, liquidity can disappear, orders can fill partially or at unexpected prices, and technical failures or market interruptions can occur. Diversification and risk controls cannot guarantee against loss.
5. Paper Trading Limitations
Simulated trading may differ materially from live trading because it may not reproduce real liquidity, queue position, slippage, latency, fees, market impact, rejections, partial fills, borrow availability, emotional decision-making, or all exchange and broker rules. Simulated results should not be treated as actual performance.
6. Automated and Algorithmic Strategies
Automation can submit repeated or rapid instructions based on rules, data, or AI output. Bugs, bad data, duplicate events, connectivity failures, incorrect parameters, or unexpected market conditions can cause unintended orders or losses. Users should set conservative limits, test with paper trading, monitor activity, and maintain a way to stop automation.
7. Options, Margin, Short Selling, Fractional, and Extended Hours
These products and features can involve additional risks, eligibility rules, approvals, liquidity constraints, assignment or exercise risk, borrowing costs, forced liquidation, gaps, volatility, and losses that may exceed expectations. Options and margin are not suitable for all investors. Read and accept all provider-required disclosures before using such features.
8. Crypto
If crypto services are available through a provider, crypto assets involve significant volatility and different custody, insurance, insolvency, market-structure, and regulatory risks from securities. Provider-specific crypto disclosures control.
9. Market Data
Market data may be real-time, delayed, indicative, incomplete, corrected, or subject to exchange/vendor terms. Do not redistribute market data unless your license permits it. Displayed prices may differ from executable prices.
10. Provider Disclosures
If Alpaca is the configured provider, review the provider’s current disclosures and agreements at https://alpaca.markets/disclosures. Provider agreements, account permissions, and disclosures govern brokerage activity and may be updated independently of OnHosty.
11. No Offer or Solicitation by this Page
This page is a risk disclosure for technology features and is not itself an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell a security, cryptocurrency, or other financial product or to open a brokerage account in any jurisdiction where the activity is not permitted.
